The data I collect from you
I collect the following data directly from you: your name, telephone number[s], email address[es], the address of your business premises (if applicable), and your billing address (if you need me to make a domain purchase on your behalf).
Reasons for collecting this data
I collect the above information so that I can contact you to discuss the work you have commissioned me to do, and because you have instructed me to display some of the information on your website or printed materials for the purpose of marketing your business. I will only collect your billing address if you need me to make a domain purchase on your behalf.
Sharing your data with other parties
If you have instructed me to make a domain purchase on your behalf I will be required to give your name, address and contact number to the domain registrar so that you are named as the legal owner of the domain. I will not share your contact information with any other third parties without your explicit consent.
Storing data
I store your data in electronic form on a password-protected laptop, and in secure cloud storage.
Data storage duration
I will keep hold of the information you have given me for six years after our working relationship has ended, at which point I will securely delete all electronic records.
Your rights regarding your data
If you would like me to delete your data or provide information about it, please email me with your request. I will action any requests within two working days.
