I began my working life as a professional actor before moving into theatre administration in London's West End. With a creative background in music and drama I was surprised to find that I thrived on the routine of office life.
I realised how much I love working with computers. I discovered real satisfaction and pleasure in working methodically, implementing and maintaining efficient systems. I enjoyed working out what admin support my colleagues needed and providing it before they even needed to ask.

I started Marcella Design in 2015 to combine my creativity and IT skills after many years working in office admin across a variety of industries including theatre production, marketing and press; and finance admin.

What gives me the most pleasure is combining my creativity and IT skills. I get excited working with colours, fonts and textures, and I love formatting and laying things out. I have a flair for design, but I’m also happy in front of a screen for hours at a time doing the time-consuming, behind-the-scenes, fiddly bits that others find boring.
I am conscientious and take pride in my professionalism. I respond quickly to all queries and will listen to you at all stages of the process. I particularly enjoy working with people who don't have confidence with technology – I will walk you through everything at a pace that suits you.
I listen to the needs of my clients and am committed to delivering a high-quality, bespoke website that functions well, communicates the essence of their business, and looks great.
